I plan on rechanging Wiki until it sticks.
Tweet that mofo....I let him know how disappointing he has been
lately, and how much I have lost my respect for him.
Flood him with that shit.
The knife fight is the best idea ever!
But make sure its in some back alley in the middle of downtown Tijuana. Tell him that the Drug Zar "el Chapo" is promoting it and that he'll give him $100,000,000 to even consider the fight, then another $200,000,000 just to park his car in the parking lot, and finally he can get a final $500,000,000,000 after Eddie knifes his motha fuckin ass.
Then "Kid" Pellegrino can go edit "The Gracie Way" and talk even more about what a huge favor Royler did to mankind for being such a brave and honorable warrior vs the Evil Eddie Bravo and his no gi blasphemy.
Eddie, te quiero cabron! Gracias por ser un chingon!!
First off, which one of them regularly trains with knives? Despite Eddie's genetic predisposion.
Second, this reminds me of that guy you tool, that allways reminds you how, "If this was mma ...."
"Helio is rolling in his grave right now, believe that!"
I CANT AGREE MORE.
Taylor has gone from most hated member to the funniest. Shit man, I laugh at every single post!
Love the Gracies, but Royler has let them down big style. Does anybody know what Renzo or Rener thinks of this? I'm pretty sure they are ashamed.
That'sh not Jiu Jitsu.
Eddie - i feel that its ridiculous that this question even needs to be asked. Because theres no reason this situation should even exist.. But assuming that Royler refuses to get back on the mats with you again, (which sounds VERY likely).. do u think you would give thought to actually taking him up on his offer? I mean.. To me it seems crazy that after however many MMA fights Royler has had now.. hes calling out someone who has never had a single match.. But do you feel like this might be a potentially great opportunity for you and your system.. I mean.. i know this sounds biased.. But even though he has experience in the cage.. You do seem to have the upper hand on the ground when it comes to the style matchups.. He has a system of jiujitsu that is geared more toward competition.. and you have a style made for MMA. So to me.. (assuming this match goes straight to the ground.. which i would assume it would).. this still could be the match that solidifies your first victory AND proves the relevance of 10th planet in this new age of MMA.
and as a side note.. I am not talking about fighting in a dirty basement in brazil.. This is all assuming you can find a place thats legit.. preferably a place with an established name who doesnt drug test ;)
THIS!.. haha.. even though i know dana wouldnt allow a main card to feature a person whos never had an MMA fight.. even if he wanted to.. just because of the negative feedback he would get from the fans.. i would LOVE to see it on a prelim or something.. wait.. actually scratch that.. James Toney just popped into my head and reminded me of how incorrect that previous statement was.. "hey chronic.. dont fohget duh one tuh muh gah the fight wuh randy got blob tubble duh nuh"
I'll have a 100 bucks that if Dana DID put this show on with great grudge matches INCLUDING the Eddie vs Royler one, that the arena/stadium tickets would be sold out. It'd be the most "fun" UFC of all time. Yeah, Toney vs Couture, Chael vs Anderson, etc etc.
Not a bad idea. Sounds like a pipe dream, but I did it.
everyone should email royler and tell him what you think... CONTACT@ROYLERGRACIE.COM
The only way Royler is going to hit Eddie in the face open handed is when he taps to a submission again
with you in it?
There's a part of me that wants to see Eddie Bravo do the MMA fight so he can train with Joe Rogan to knock Royler out with a spinning back kick. It would be like some stoner the Karate Kid except with Tae Kwan Do.
Can I just take Royler's side for fun. Isn't Eddie constantly claiming he's trying to create a style that is mainly focused on MMA, so why doesn't he prove that his style is superior on a horrible striker. Also, which would you take, a match for 100k or a pride match, is he being a good business man by leaving his ego at the door?
ego has nothing to do with it man. imagine you played basketball all your life, and you once beet a fantastic guy at a game of one on one, it was a great feat.but its like instead of him facing you again at one on one basketball to get even, he dick tucks, then challenges you to play american football. when youve never even played in your life, and hes been in some good teams a while back. not to mention the risk of injury is significantly higher etc it would be a completely unfair challenge. accepting it would be stupid.
I would be extremely interested in seeing this MMA fight, but I also completely understand if there's hesitation or non-interest on Eddie's part.
He (SoreLooser) lost in a grappling competition. If he wants the rematch it should be in a grappling competition. Plane and simple. How is declining a rematch in a grappling contest and offering to fight him in an MMA match the same thing? Two different sports....
yeah.. I would love to see this match (MMA).. but even if 9/10 times eddie won.. heck even if 10/10 times eddie won.. the pay would have to be good enough to cover the potential loss of teaching and seminars he might lose due to an injury.. Lets say eddie is raining down some bravo punishment on royler.. and connects wrong and breaks his hand.. even though its still a win.. is it worth the amount of time hed be out of jiujitsu? id say it would depend on the amount offered for the fight. I mean.. if ur getting 100k for an MMA match.. thats probably worth any injury that could happen with Royler in the cage with you.. (lets be honest.. nobody is getting any brain damage fighting that guy).. I say take the match.. smoke down before you get in the cage... And after neutralizing his punches with rubber guard.. Finish him with a twister.. kill 4 birds with one stone..
