What I love about Louis is that he doesn't let his injuries discourage him. It's so easy to throw in the towel but he doesn't.
Bad knees, ankles, back, rib, neck, and shoulder? No problem! As long as he can walk we see him on the mats (Mr. Ho - Go see a massage/physio therapist or something! lol).
Bobby, that was a beautiful jump to armbar, swim move to spider web. Very nice. I'll send you a shipment of roids...on me. :)
Man I have to vote Zog. He has made being a "Nibiru Warrior" his life and full time job. Not just 9-5 M-F either. He is always on the forum spreading knowledge and when he isn't he is in the gym teaching or traveling to do seminars and spread the knowledge across North America and eventually the world.
Good luck to all! But when I think Nibiru Warrior when it comes to this forum I think Herzog!
All deserving candidates. Maybe a free copy of Advance RG for making top 5. :)
Just Curious if what the candidates opinions are on letting matches at HQ being taped and posted on the forum are. If you want my vote I want to be entertained :) I ve been there and been through the gambit a couple o times :) Ive narrowed down my vote and the reply to this will feed heavily into my decision .
I can understand wanting to have matches posted, but at the same time a lot of people dont want training posted. I dont like to post videos of my training but I dont mind posting some matches as long as my training partner doesnt mind also.Quote:

where do i vote?
Thank you guys, I feel honored just for the simple fact of being nominated!
Well, 2011 was a great year for me and my 10th Planet El Paso Family
I win the IBJJF worlds and I had 7 of my warriors driving for 12 hours, Cris Chavez got 3rd in a 32 bracket, I work hard traveling and teaching to get 10th Planet Mexico City affiliation, and 10th Planet Chihuahua and 10th Planet Monterrey coming very soon. Since I was titled as the 10th Planet Espanol President by Eddie my mission is very clear to help our 10th Planet family to expand as much as possible EN ESPANOL, so LATIN AMERICA is gonna be full of mooners in the next years (mark my words :-)
My son won the GRACIE Kids Worlds 2011, Cris Chavez won the Gracie Nationals in Mexico City, Albert Pena got 1st at the GQ in the UFC Fan Expo, Justyne Duran got 2nd same one, and we have won multiple local tourneys. We are a very young 10th Planet Affiliation and we have very high percentage on medals in every single tourney that we compete, that makes me feel very proud as a Trainer and as a 10th Planet representative.
Sorry about my english guys :-) I wasnt to much in to the posting, but one of my 2012 resolutions is to be here as often as possible....... Y para toda la raza 10mo PLANETA que habla espanol, esten pendientes de mis nuevos post en este foro, quiero saber cuantos somos, y de donde son, saludos a todos
Master Vic
Pack up your bags Zog it looks like you're going to HQ :)
That flying armbar was incredible. I could watch it all day.
Dang people are showing some love for Zog
Damn, you're a badass homie. Funny you say that last video was your toughest opponent but you still tapped him in less than 5 minutes.
Shots fired?
Yeah man, Zog shows a lot of love to the people. It shouldn't be a surprise that folks show love back. That being said, the more I read people's spiels and see their vids, the more I'm wowed by how deserving each guy is. May the best man win.
+1
I'm really proud of the community we've created around here. I've never seen anything like it on the interwebs. The level of character exhibited by all of the nominees -- and the fact that there were twice as many nominees who didn't make the finals -- just speaks to what 10th Planet is all about to me. I love how high the level of competition is around here!
Herzog is smashing it....keep voting
Yo, not that my opinion really matters much here, but I've got one.
(No offense Herzog, you know you're the man, but....)
It's Zog's job to post here and answer questions, so I don't really think
that's grounds for being the warrior of the year. We all know he's the man
around here and keeps things in line...but that's what a mod does.
Some of these other guys have taken it upon themselves to represent
without being directly affiliated with 10th Planet, or at least without being
already recognized as a leader of a 10th Planet. I think Zog is the warrior
of the century, but I think someone else should be warrior of the year.
But hey, this is coming form a lowly Ronin here.
You make a good point some of those things are his "duty" but then he goes way above and beyond that call. Posting a video every now and then to promote the system and his moon ya, but he's putting one out just about every week and we're not just talking 5 min these are full blown instructionals and I'm pretty sure he volunteered for the mod gig. Plus he always offers up his solid advice when ever somebody is looking for help. I guarantee anybody who pms him will get a response I always have. I backed Bobby because he represents the guys out there doing shit with very little resources(the ronins) the biggest of which is this forum. But I believe all 5 guys are worthy of the title.
Don't misunderstand though, Zog is far beyond worthy,
I don't think this forum would exist without Chris Herzog.
I'm just trying to help out the other guys a bit.
I got mad respect for Zog, and I think he knows it.
I just want to see Bobby or Dewitt get the chance
to go to HQ and train with Eddie so that one day they
may be able to make a mark as big as Herzog.
Thanks broski.Quote:

There is no doubt that Zog deserves this title and he is who I voted for. I ain't goin nowhere, and look forward to next year.
Congrats Coach. This was fun and you're fucking awesome.
I guess next time we just should have like 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 I dont know , but DIFERENT kinds of nominations, that way we can notice the diference or vote for the ones we think that, Fought the most or bether, travel te most, represents the most, and of course an ABSOLUTE NIBIRU WARRIOR OF THE YEAR DIVITION too lol.
Thats just my opinion lets see what Eddie thinks :-)
Master Vic
I wish you could all win. I look up to all of you and have learned so much from your matches and posts.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sensing that you think Coach Zog is getting votes off being a mod, right? I'm not too sure of that. He's not "doing his duty." Now, I could be wrong, but I'ma bit of a forum nerd and I have yet to hear about a moderator making money from moderating. I'm not gonna put words in his mouth, but I assume he does it because he loves to help. Just in general. He's that kind of guy.
Just ask any of the moons he's done seminars at. He hasn't won a ton of competitions this past year, but he's won a lot of friends and helped a lot of guys get better. I mean, which is more important? Improving yourself and winning comps for yourself? Or pouring yourself into others so they can get better? I guess that's pretty subjective, but I think the latter is pretty noteworthy. This is decades worth of hard work condensed into a solid year and it's paying off for the man. I don't think it's fair to reduce what he's really done to: "he's just doing his duty." He's done a lot more than that, and the votes reflect that. Keep it real; we aren't voting for best moderator.
That being said, I wish I could vote for all 5 guys. Truth be told, all of these guys have put in work in their own right. Years of blood, sweat, tears, injuries, jet lag, medical bills, and so on. It sucks that there can only be one winner.
I'm not sure if you saw my follow up post, so I will assume you missed my point.
I never said "he's just doing his duty" - I am only making a case for the other
participants, who are far behind in the polls, that I think deserve this treat as well.
All I said was I don't think mod responsibilities should be taken into account
when people are voting - that takes nothing away from what he gives here
outside of his daily mod responsibilities.
In no way does that discredit Chris Herzog.
I never said he didn't deserve it.
I never said he got paid for modding.
Just trying to make this thing competitive.
Herzog will win this thing every year if we let him.
