I don't get his reasoning on using the position. If someone is ankle locking me I'm not going to grab ahold of his foot and stop him from disengaging.

Zog, regarding the "you should never spin out of a straight ankle leg from any position.." does this hold true for the outside straight ankle lock where the attacker is finishing by twisting the top half of his body to the floor? Is there any point trying to go with the direction of the twist or is it pretty much game over at that point and very risky to spin?
