I'm no expert. Did you tell her it leaked puss? IDK man. Hope it's just RW.
Anybody caught on the mats with ringworm, covered or not, should be hanged.
If you listen to the joe rogan podcast is has something that he swears by that stops ringworm, i think its acidophilus.
But I have never tried it before, I've been doing grappling for 7 years and avoided ringworm so far
I'm with B Mc I don't think that's ringworm homie:cool:
I hesitate to be contrary to anything Eddie may have said But I am working on finishing my BS in Biology currently and as far as medical science knows acidophilus is not effective for preventing or curing fungal skin infections. It naturally lives in the digestive and tract and in girly parts and needs a similar environment to survive. For there is any chance at all that is could be effective in treating ringworm, you would have to put in directly on the ringworm as there is absolutely no way a living fungus can pass though your digestive tract and reach the skin alive or intact. There is limited clinical evidence that is may be useful in preventing/treating yeast infections. I would recommend using a Allylamine (ie lamisil) or a Azole drug to treat it.
So she probably gave you clindamycin. But what's interesting is she gave you an antibiotic to fight infection and a anti fungal to kill the fungus. You should be ok.
