I look for what functionaly works for me as a Jui Jitsu Student then drill it as much as I can, the way my class is structured is alot different then when im teaching my friends. my instructor shows 2 techs and then we work on them back and fourth for like 15 reps on both sides (strong side and weak side)with your partner after that we just roll. I personally start with a position drill a sweep and then a sub or two from that position, move back into the sweep and work from the new position doing the same thing till i make it back to my starting position.
