He better be doing no gi between 75%-100% of the time, or Eddie is going to have a strong advantage always training no gi.
Well if you say so Eddie.... I know you say so and lots of peeps think that way and so should I , but I hate the Gi any use of it. Maybe when I`m more advance I`ll understand better.. No disrespect from me... Just a Gi hater..
This match isn't in the gi? What a rip off! lol
Is Eddie going to wear his gi pants? If not, will that change a bit of his game? Should a lot of stock be put into replicating the conditions of the match as far as lower body type grip aids like knee sleeves and such? I would guess so.
Rules say gi is optional, grabbing shirt or t-shirt is illegal. Kinda vague. I think you are allowed to wear them and they can't grip them, but I have seen a trend of allowing your opponent to grab your pants if you choose to wear them and you can't grab them. However you are allowed to grab your own shirts, just not his.
I was wondering about this as well. I don't know if Eddie wants to leak this info yet. Along with rash guard. I'm pretty sure he'll go rashie, board shorts, knee and ankle sleeves. We'll see.
Shorts. Grab your own shorts.
Royler's time is better spent studying Eddie's Rubber Guard and Twister DVD's so he can learn how to counter. He's watching wearing the Gi, of course. ;)
