I really like the baseball bat choke. I prefer the set up from KOB but this set up is a good trick for sure.

Of course there's gi tech that can help you out in a 'practical' situation. People wear a lot of clothes out there (unless you only have to defend yourself during beach volleyball). I'm sure there's some guys in a coat that's been introduced to the pavement by some judoka. Sure, some stuff isn't 'practical', chess won't help me in a street fight, but I'll still play it.

Eddie has a great story about how well gi chokes work with a t-shirt.
The gracie brothers have a whole instructional on it and they show how you can even use one of those keychain leashes. Kind of funny but back in the day in the back of martial arts magazines they sold Velcro watch bands that opened up that you could use to preform sleeve chokes.
