I second that motion but only if Lindsey gets one too. I mean really, she had to put up with the both of us!

I think the overall message this weekend was positivity. We learn to compete. With that comes anxiety, fear, stress, expectation, emotion.. Sometimes we can vilify or resent our rivals or competitors. People who also love to train and work. People we would probably really respect and like. The overall vibe this weekend was that as individuals we can succeed or fail, but what does that matter? Life is too damn short to live inside a cage of cynicism, negativity, and doubt. Link your brains, reach out, help others, HAVE FUN. Don't focus on emotion. It is only information to how your brain perceives reality and holds no bearing on the other side of our eyes. How you act, that's real. Just soak it up while you can. It was a very productive and progressive weekend in life, via 10pjj.
Lonnie is not being over hyped at all. He has a very powerful and contagious perspective and attitude. If Brandon is ever headed your way, inquire about Lonnie. The reason we love jj is because how it makes us feel about ourselves and others. We cant do that if our minds are fixated on a bunch of problems. Just accept the challenge and start moving toward the solution. He can sync up an entire room full of separate consciousnesses and put them all on the same page. A harmony. We def got the chance to meet this amazing dude because Brandon is, who he is. Genuine as fuck. Good shit.
Wish I could have been there. Congrats to the new Blue belts!
Awesome thread. Damn near brings a tear to my eye reading the experiences.
If you doubt Brandon Mc's top pressure, don't! I'm pretty sure it works if I and two other people pass out because of it. Spazzing out unconscious on the floor because of top halfguard pressure isn't fun.
The weekend was incredible to say the least!! I cannot believe how much we all learned in a weekends time but thanks to Sean, Bobby, Brandon, and brother Lonnie it was put together amazingly!
Great training camp! I was only able to go to the Saturday sessions, but really learned a lot. It was like a month of training in 6 hours. Thanks to my coach Brandon Mccaghren, Gulf Shores Sean Applegate and Mobile Hotbox's Bobby Rivers for seriously giving everything you have to teach and train us in this amazing sport. Words can't describe the impact Lonnie Jones had on me and I'm sure everyone else; probably more to help me be a better dad, husband and business owner than anything else. Enjoyed training with different guys, meeting some talented competitors and being a part of the 10th Planet family. Not an ego in the room, just can't believe that's possible. I hate a couple guys got hurt, praying you guys recover quickly. Also, congratulations to Tori and Tony on the level up! Nothing but great things ahead of us :)
This camp was incredible everyone treated me like family even the people I just met it really means a lot to have positive people in my life and to be a part of 10thplanet jiu jitsu. Thank you Bobby, Sean and Brandon I can already tell a difference in my game. I would never be able to finish arm triangles and thanks to Sean I have actually had success with them last night and I hit the triangle you showed from monkey mount a few times too. One of my instructors in the gi Micheal Mann (purple belt under Samuel Puccio) was telling me that he can see a big improvement in my pressure while passing, I was giving him more problems with my butterfly guard then usual the getting under their hips and kind of on one side like Brandon taught has definitely helped and thank you Bobby for the head fighting details that's already made a huge difference in not just my butterfly guard but I've been using it in my passing and everything. I've been to a decent amount of seminars since I started training and I sometimes leave not feeling like I honestly learned much. Each seminar this weekend I've learned a lot from and will actually be able to use. Lonnie did an incredible speech and has changed my outlook on competing and gave me a different view on life. Congratulations to Tori and Tony on the blue belts they are both very well deserved. Thank you to every one that came out and made this possible you've all taught me something great this weekend and i'ts crazy to think that all of this was just $20. I really hope to see more of these camps in the future.
