Jiu jitsu wise, my top priority goal is to constantly improve my game, every single day. That's big to me. I want to continue to attend class at least 4X a week, and drill at home whenever it's possible, compete at every single tournament possible, and attend every seminar there is within a few hundred mile radius. This year I only competed a couple times, but attended seminars from Nathan Orchard 3X, Brandon Mccaghren 2X, Mike Dewitt 2X, Geo Martinez, Nabil Salameh and the master himself, Eddie Bravo. I also trained at 10th Planet Grants Pass, Springfield, Portland and San Francisco. I want to double that next year!
I also want to ramp up my strength and conditioning. Being that I'm only 5'9 and weigh about 140, I'm usually one of if not the smallest guy in the gym.
So, there's a start. I'm sure I will be adding more throughout the year.
Edit: Also, I should probably mention that I just started training jiu jitsu in March, so it wasn't even a full year!
Out of interest how long have you been training with grippers and what can you close now?
I suspect that unless you are able to close CoC 2 reasonably early on in your training the CoC 3 will
be a serious hurdle to overcome maybe impossible but at your weight this would really be a terrific accomplishment.
Let us know how you get on.
