I just looked up the champ and his grappling credentials on google and I am now extremely pleased with how well I contented with this guy. His name is Ian Emmons. Hopefully it doesn't make too big of waves that I just dropped his name online, but wow, this is a big boost for me on my way back to the gym tomorrow!!!

Yeah i see alot of amatuers get into Kesa all the time. Now that you know what to do when one of them get you into, you should be fine!

Yeah just gotta put the reps in. :)

I wouldn't feel comfortable critiquing what you do when I'm not an expert myself. What I will say, though, is that you did a shitload better than I did the majority of the time I was a white belt. Awesome job.

Thanks man, but feel free to critique. If you see something I missed, it might change my game a little. Also, I try to approach things as though I am going to win and I am an expert. Sometimes it may hinder me when I talk and I should be listening, but confidence plays a big part in me doing well at anything. And if there were no time limits, I would have caught each of those dudes. None of them could have hung with my patience. Sensei put me in far more dangerous positions and submission attempts!!! But that's just the confident me talking. There is no knowing except what the mind accepts.
