You should educate yourself better on how fallout/radiation and the most dangerous sorts of radiation after a nuclear explosion. The first month or so is the most dangerous but alpha and beta particles break down pretty quick and dont penetrate too well. Might prevent a suicide at least.

The least u can do if u have nothing else is atleast put your shirt over your mouth and nose, using it like a small filter
