Question about the GI

i started out no gi then made to wear one so me no likey.

That's awesome. If I could post a picture, The caption would say "Goddamn it feel's good to be a gangster" When I get the chance to come to New York, I'm def stopping by 10pl Rochester. Zog, are you coming back to the west coast anytime soon? If/when, please bring Judo gi, I wish we had Judo at Legends/HQ.

I prefer 70 % gi 30% no gi however if guys are rolling no gi at gym and some guys are rolling gi I just simply take jacket off or put one on then you get used to both. Gi is useful if your not used to being thrown or pulled about it gets you used to it. Plus generally for self defence the person your fighting normally has some clothes on to grab if they didn't I would be worried.

Nothing planned for anytime soon, we dumped every ounce of resources into our new academy to get it up and running, so once a few more things are squared (more mats and a cage) away I'd like to get back out there late this year or early next.

Chris have you ever lost a fight? I dont think anybody wants to fuck with you.

I have to train Gi @ Gracie Barra, They do not offer a no Gi class. But I still train No Gi on my time using the 10 th planet System .

nogi vs gi are literally 2 different realms
you have to explain in context why your having a gi/nogi debate because your answer can be either or, or your 2nd option is BOTH
i like GI and NO GI
i WOULD train GI as well as NO GI
but if you asked me my personal preference
9/10 my answer is NO GI
