Maybe he is not taking it as a ploy to avoid us exploding into the apex of popularity among the JJ fraternity worldwide. Think about it, imagine the exposure for 10th Planet JJ if it did go ahead. Just look at the response worldwide fro the announcement of the match up anyway.
Regardless of the outcome (win or lose), it would put us squarely on the map as the hottest system in no gi grappling.

didnt the gracies used to challenge people at their own gym? so i mean.. if it happened to them.. it wouldnt be disrespectful right? for instance if someone wanted to prove the usefulness of their system to the gracie family.. just like they did to countless other martial arts schools.. that would be acceptable right? :)
