Dude, Eddie would bike to class all the time. Cabs are expensive in LA. I seriously think you'll be fine with the bike, but whatever makes you feel comfortable! ;)

Yeah, dude, I was just joking about the gang stuff. They're around, but I've never felt in danger. I used to walk the half mile from the Vermont and Santa Monica train station to HQ all the time, and I never felt unsafe.
