Sounds good CHI North is heading to MI. I haven't milked a goat in years but I'm sure that shit will come back. RNC would be bad since there may be an easy opportunity to get bitten. Lopping off the head with a Machete would suffice.

I've only put about 100 rounds though it but I've had zero problems with it. 0 FTE 0 FTF 0 Stovepipes. The reliability i was referring to was in 7, 8 years after thousand upon thousands of rounds that plastic is gonna wear. It's a .40
I def would wait a few months to hit the base u don't want there to still be people there when you show up. I think i would go with a small jeep 4x4, four wheel drive can be harder to fix but i think id rather not get stuck when shit hits the fan. Small engine good gas mileage.
Wow. Thanks. I'm humbled.
I'm just a hardcore fan of Apocalyptic Scenarios whether they are Natural (Flood,Earthquake) Man Made (Terrorism, Nuclear,EMP) or Just Supernatural (Zombies whatever else). Mix that with a healthy dose of George Romero and well you get it.
@Kurzy The Peterborough Pete, hot-wire kit: wire cutters, heavy duty utility knife, 2 STRONG Flat Head screw drivers,a small chisel, rolled up wire coat hanger, 2 9volt Batts, 2 small wood wedges,1 inflatable door wedge, alligator clip jumpers, wire nuts and 2 not so legal items i have to omit for my safety but easily found on you tube.
@ Josh you know this! 8 hours of heedgey, zombies and going "that truck would work'!
I still don't think anything heavier than a .22LR is neccessary for Z's if one is in "bug out mode".
btw ghetto silencers = oil filters, 2 liter soft drink bottles, or... be advised .22LR and .45ACP are subsonic by nature 9mm 5.56 7.62 etc are supersonic rounds and suppressors have a less effective db reduction, unless the rounds are custom loaded.

@ Yooper Greg, the equipment and supplies will differ greatly when "bugging in" as opposed to "bugging out". Fortifying and holding a static position allows greater latitude for armaments but silence is still the rule as Zombie Doctrine dictates they hunt in packs and are drawn by noise. Therefore Like the Marines say Silent Swift and Deadly!
Yeah for sure www.cheaperthandirt.com has any/everything you'll need.
Don't be so sure. As fas as I presume, Springfield has taken all the best features from poly handguns and combined them into the XD(m). So when you read this article, keep in mind that although it was written about a Glock, I believe the XD(m) would match or even exceed these results:

Haha, we celebrated a buddy's stag party in Niagra this summer at the many stripper clubs, and that's what they kept calling us: The Peterborough Petes. LOL.
Thanks for the info. I never took a hotwire kit (or hotwire knowledge) into consideration for my B.O.B. I will have to look into that some more, just out of curiosity's sake, of course....
I also have never heard of an inflatable door wedge!
