I'm still working on them, getting better at them everyday but i know i need to work on the control for them at a slow speed

Was able to hit the dlr to 50/50 heel hook vs someone standing last night. Felt awesome. Loving these open guard warm ups.
I just watched UFC Ultimate Submissions on Sportsnet last night and low and behold there is Knee bar from Open Guard in Mir Vs. Lesnar. I only got one view but it looked like Mir was playing the Purgatory position then did Spiral Guard (outside path as opposed to the inside path in the warmup) then to knee bar for the sub. Great stuff, thanks for these warmup sets.
I've been hitting the kiss the dragon to berimbolo to back all week. The set up with the kiss the dragon has increased my sweep finish percentage of the berimbolo (with and without gi) IMMENSELY! Nice work. I've also added the spiral guard set up to my game, makes for a nice transition.
I finally worked out my issue with those berimbolos. Because I normally play De La Riva on my left side it means you spin under to the left, but my body prefers to go the other way. So I was having a conflict mind wanting to go left and my body wanting to go right and that's why I was struggling with the technique. So I was Watching This Week In BJJ with the Miyao brothers and for whatever reason it just clicked that, that was my issue and did some drills doing it on my right side and had so much more success with them. Obviously many more drills are still required but i now know my problem and can start to address it! :D
I'm stoked that yalls are getting good mileage out of these warm ups. After a couple years of consistency the 10p warm ups will make a tremendous differences in all our games. Memorization of the warm ups is key :)
This is not open guard related but I have been loving the top half pass warmups, I have been killing with the Hail Mary to the crippler. Love dem heel hooks
