IMO Logic would dictate that if you do not use the belt system, that you would not assume a level and represent yourself as a white belt.

You seem like a nice guy and all, but if your intent is to become an affiliate, I'd stop misrepresenting myself if I were in your shoes. Its a red flag in our association, for sure.
