according to the flat earth model the sun is like a spotlight that rotates over the disk.
Yeah essentially I think the misunderstanding of why you can't see the sun is that people are still thinking it's as large in the geocentric model as it is in the heliocentric model. Once you realize this, I don't think it is hard to conceptualize.
Cool man glad you like it.
1) As Sunlight bends around there will be areas in the sky that are in contact with the light, and shaded from it. The moon phases are caused by the moon simply oscillating in and out of these zones.
2)Voyager and Pioneer are fictitious works of imagination; just more ways for NASA to steal money from a gullible public, and the concave model tends to agree with this.
3) Quasars and exoplanets are more fantasy terms that have no relevance to actual reality. There is no such thing as a "quasar" or "exoplanet". We see pictures of lights and CGI, but no actual evidence for their existence.
4) The measured valued of "G" as a force that accelerates mass is the same, regardless of the theory surrounding it.
You can't, which is one of many reasons why the Earth isn't flat. The Sun would be visible at all points on a flat plane 25,000 miles in diameter, given that the Sun is 3,000 miles in elevation.
Here's a good one.... explain lunar eclipse in a concave earth. The earth blocks out the sun and casts the moon in shadow. Seems impossible in concave Earth.
What's interesting to me Primal is that when I said "round earth model fits observation better" you argued about things like tidal locking and planet formation. Yet in your theory you cannot even explain gravity. The night sky is just "lights". You don't know what they are, but that doesn't seem to bother you. But the fact that the moon is tidally locked gives you issues with round earth?
Can you explain why we always see the same side of the Moon in concave Earth?.... How was the concave Earth formed? What's outside of the concave Earth?
The concave model is deeply flawed. Not as bad as flat earth, but it's still pretty bad.
In round Earth I don't know how far the sun is, but I know it's further away than the moon. I know this because of a solar eclipse, which I've seen. The moon covers the sun. So it's closer. Could be half as close, could be 400 times closer, hard to tell for me... I've also seen lunar eclipses. That tells me that at times the Earth is between the moon and the sun. At least, that's the best explanation I've heard.
Round Earth makes sense with everything I observe. The other theories don't. It's pretty simple.
Surely this person is a troll.
If G is a constant then how does the concave theory explain the motions of the stars and planets?
What is their mass according to the concave theory of gravitation?
There are thousands of people who have taken measurements using radio telescopes. The Flat Earth and Concave Earth people claim they are just trying to look at things "outside the box". That is an admirable sentiment but when they ignore scientific method, ignore thousands of scientific measurements, cling desperately to a handful of weak demonstrations, claim that everything that doesn't fit their theory is a conspiracy then it has to be a troll.
Guys, read the thread. Half of the things you are asking I already explained.
No offense Craig, but you haven't researched this subject nearly as much as I have. It's not that concave Earth doesn't make sense. It's that you aren't aware of the impossibilities of the Globe model nor the workings of the concave model. Which is fine, but you have to approach this topic understanding that I know everything you know and then some about the conventional earth model, as well as Flat and concave theories.
This is a prime example. The Lunar eclipse has in fact been documented by the Royal Astronomical Society to take place while the Sun and Moon are both visible in the sky at the same time. Now think about this for just one second. If the Sun and Moon are both in the sky at the same time, how can the Earth's shadow possibly be the cause of the Lunar eclipse? It can't.
Concave Earth's model is the only one that supplies a solution to this phenomenon. The Sunlight travels and bends around the central celestial sphere The moon is simply in a dark zone where the Sun's light isn't shining. Simple is it not?

And so you can see with this model its possible for the Moon to still be in a dark zone while the sun is visible in the sky as well.
This also explains the anti-solar illumination we observe- gegenshein. Of course you don't know what that is either. There is actually a spot of light in the night sky exactly opposite from where the sun is on the other side of earth.
I also think my explanation for gravity is superior to Newtons. Newton himself admitted that the tidal bulges on Earth don't match what we would expect from an orbiting moon with its own gravity. Refer back to the first page for the illustration of Gravity.
I can tell you've done your research as you've got an answer for pretty much everything. I'm new to the flat Earth thing myself, and I mostly like this new theory except that it doesn't explain why planes don't fly in the southern hemisphere, and that was a big selling point for me.
Why can't it be flat and concave like someone doughnut stamped the ground or Like the sun is a dog on a chain and basically just ran a hole in the ice.
