Jay you obviously are very serious about your future and I appreciate that. And so am I! I for damn sure am not fucking whining or moaning about shit. An d I have respected everyone who I have ever trained with and in return, gained their respect as is evident with some of the instructors that I have had the pleasure of working with in tpjj. And if you think that all of what I wrote on here was in concern for me, then you obviously took the wrong shit from it all. It was a lighthearted thread till einstein mocked me and others on here for recognizing people we respect as intructors, it was out of line and uncalled for and very disrespectful to me and the others or di I not make this fucking clear enough in my previous postings. Also, Im happy that you saved your money and made the trip to hq, I was wanting to do that too, but unfortunately, Ive had a couple of major setbacks in the past few months that make impossible for this year. Roughly to the tune of about fifty fucking thousand dollars, so I give two shits about your opinions on whether or not Im doing enough sir. As for my whitebelt status, I will gladly roll with anyone anytime as I have stated before, but on another note, I'll gladly put all my wasted years of learning other martial arts and the destruction of the human body against anyone, for I have done more than jumped around at the local ymca screaming iiiiiiyaaaa! I'll make sure to tell everyone I know in Karate and other martial arts that you think theyre all just wasting their time learning useless shit. I'm sure like me, they'll give to fucks as to your opinion too. When you get a quarter of a century of martial arts under your fucking blue belt, call me, and I guarantee you, I'll still know more than you.
tell me genius, where the fuck I was wrong! A person posted a Thread and I commented. Then I was mocked along with others by someone I am sure that all of us look up to and admire for his accomplishments. I responded accordingly just like I am with you now. In your narrow minded thinking or over absorbed ass kissing, I cant figure out which, you read my posts and didnt understand a fucking thing I wrote and went on to state that I'm not doing enough, fuck that and you! who the fuck are you, anyway? I think that while in my posts of disagreeing and making my opinion, I was very respectful to everyone that I commented to. If you think thats the wrong way, then tell me where I was wrong and I'll consider and probably admit my fault if in fact I was wrong. I dont think I am, and because I disagree with Eddie about this doesnt mean I'm a bad person. As I stated my reasons for my concerns. Thats why its called an opinion....
Didn't say at all that Karate and Tae Kwon Do were useless, did I? I said that it's irrelevant to your Jiu Jitsu training and gradings. You say you are full of respect but every post seems to point to the contrary.
I do not like with the fact that you are claiming you know more than me because you have quarter of a century of martial arts. That means nothing to me. I don't want to know about anything in other martial arts because they are irrelevant to getting a higher grade in this system. What do you know about the 10th Planet system? You can say that you don't give two fucks to my opinion but all that does it make you out to be a hypocrite. You go on about disrespect but then go on to referring to my grade as "fucking blue belt", then saying "I know more than you".
Also, as I stated in my previous post, you can't take that comment from Scott as insulting. He is completely right. But in doing so you've made yourself out to look immature and are slating Scott's opinion. Are you claiming that you know more than him about the system because of your 25 years in TMA? Seems like Eddie and everybody else thought you were doing so.
Also, don't fucking speak to me like that. Who am I? I'm someone who is a lot more dedicated to the system than you could ever hope to be.
Narrow minded and ass kissing? Not at all, I'm just stating my opinion as you are. Don't slate my opinion if you can't take your opinion being slated either.
You were not respectful to anybody. Especially not to me. "Fuck you!" Thanks, that's very respectful.
I think maybe you should just shut the fuck up before you dig yourself even deeper.
some people are just geniuses in their time management... I want to take a seminar :)
So now that you understand a little to how I felt disrespected, can you see yourself in my shoes. In reality jay, I dont think I know more than you because I dont know your background, and Im not so bold as to think that I do, as you did mine, fyi, I've got about seven years in off and on in jiujitsu between japanese traditional and bjj, but my traditional rank doesnt count on here and Ive accepted that my rank in tpjj is white. That doesnt mean that Im a beginner who just signed up yesterday either. Your preconceived notion that my rank reflects my knowledge only makes you more belt aware than me, as it seemed to be the case with einstein. Ive worked and trained very hard to know what I know. I'm not concerned with belts as so many on here are. I love to teach and even more learn as much as I can because I love this stuff. So excuse my previous post AS IT WAS ONLY MEANT TO INCITE YOU SO YOU COULD UNDERSTAND HOW EINSTEINS ASSUMPTION OF MY KNOWLEDGE OR LACK THERE OF MAKE ME FEEL. I wasnt trying to shake up the tpjj system with my progressive thinking or whatever. Its just in my opinion, the promotion approach seems a little misguided, notice the words, in my opinion. Hope you calm down and see things as I saw them and understand this... That when you assume to know things about things that which you don't, you make an ass out of U and ME. and by presuming that you know more than me about tpjj of any other grappling art is just that, an assumption. Please dont make me put the webster definition of assumption up here. Just understand that I had "my" reasons for why I felt disrespected and they are mine and mine only. And I stand up for myself. So I hope you aint mad and that if you are, you can find in yourself to forgive me. thanks
all the white belts that i have offended please say i. my intention was not to offend which is rare. but more along the lines of what edie said. It is very simple if you haven't put the time in you aint got no business suggesting ranks in any system. if you wanna give a compliment to an instructor do so but do not recommend rank on forums or to instructors. 10th planet will not be watered down while im on watch.
No need for it man, I didn't say fuck you to yourself and nobody else did either.
The main thing is that you can not regard Scott's comment as disrespectful as it is not. You may disregard my comment as I am only a blue belt. I'm proud to be a blue belt in the system, but I'm no black belt. Eddie Bravo and Scott Epstein however are. Their comments were in no way meant to be disrespectful. In fact, Scott's first comment is completely warranted and completely right. You may not care about belts but a lot of people do.
The disrespect started when you decided to slate Eddie's process on grading. Why are you right and he is wrong? Are you a 2nd Degree BJJ black belt? I think that in slamming his ability to correctly award belts is the highest of disrespect and you should be saying that last sentence to Eddie and Scott.
It doesn't matter if I forgive you or not, who am I, anyway?
