as much as i'm upset with his post and his way of handling things i have no intention of taking business from him like i said his other coach brad seymour is amazing and they have an amazing environment created there...

he saw me in person with hostility then we exchanged e-mails tonight and i thought it was sorted...then i found this post and i was disgusted and felt like publicly responding...

he is probably covered somehow though i couldn't imagine him getting involved with anything without throughouly researching his options he is a very well known highly regarded Taekwondo/Hapkido instructor and that's predominantly what his academy is with the recent inclusion of Gracie Combatives and regular visits from the Gracies in particular 2 visits from Royce.

thanks for pointing that out though Jonathon. I hope he reads this thread in the near future and understands how out of line he was with his attack on me

i do owe his financial institution some money but to air that publicly i was disgusted...

The truth is man if you sent in the video your self you would be registered on their site and you are not I checked. Your whining he didn't register you but you can do that your self. So you obviously flat out lied about being a blue belt.

Im not trying to call you out but I would hate for this kind of stuff being associated with 10th planet.

well not that i really care but... if he did get a mail order blue belt, he should have also received a promotion certificate along with it.. so the smoking gun's right there. it shouldn't be too hard to snap a picture of it...

no worries at all i do understand...

now i started the syllabus through this guy's academy.... then due to work/time restrictions i could no longer attend so i continued with a training partner in my hours perfecting the 36 required moves... i then filmed all 36 in one succession without a glitch in one recording in 4:03 seconds... criteria filled for earning a blue belt in Gracie Combatives i then mailed the dvd to the address in the book the same day i bought internet credit and signed up to this site and posted my initial thread which was less about my belt and more about the application of tenth planet vs gracie jiu jitsu....

I haven't heard back from the gracie university as of yet and when that certificate comes in the mail i will more than happily take a snapshot if need be.... however mr hope's anger comes from me questioning the legitimacy of the blue belt in comparison to a blue belt in jiu jitsu... and downtalking Gracie Combatives which he has taken as me downtalking his school and academy
this situation is something i have always been open about and honest about if necessary check my post history... i've always said i feel like i've cheated the belt and am in fact still a white belt until i can grade in the tenth planet system which is a long way off

i have since invested in as much tenth planet material i could get hold of i have bought mats and put them in my store and have 8 guys come and train the system with me free of charge with the plasma playing eddie's dvd and learning directly from them... i'm also saving up to travel to melbourne to train with Frank Barca and the 10th planet melbourne crew.

Now if after doing all this i'm some kind of bad guy then let me know... im simply trying to get the best out of my training and working my hardest towards my goal of entering the worlds in five years time

also i wasn't whineing about him not registering me it was simply a retort to his attack on me detailing something he has done wrong...i have never been to the gracie site and was not aware i could register myself i paid $50 a week to a guy to do that type of shit for me.... i didn't even know it was a dvd set until a couple of months into my training

maybe i was over zealous with the earned and should have waited for the certificate first picked the white colour on my profile first instead of being over confident assuming i would get the belt... but please remember it's 36 basic as hell moves and after 4 months with everyday repeition you can understand why im confident i will be rated blue.... however i still pertain to the fact i am a white belt in jiu jitsu..... i'm a white belt in tenth planet jiu jitsu in fact

ehh fair enough, I did not know you could actually mail a dvd haha that would really make it mail order.

^^^ with the slightest bit of video editing knowledge you really could just do one technique at a time mix it together and send it....it's pretty shit, i'm just shit with technology so i'd have no idea.

my next grading obviously months and months into the future i'm hoping to do with Frank in Melb, then there can be absolutely no doubt :)
