joe lewis flat out said he is not a fighter. he was an actor.
bruce lee never competed in anything. his students make claims sometimes that he entered tournaments under different names so that they would let him in (because no one would fight him of course), he barely knew any ground fighting. he just started learning judo near the end of his life.
his strength claims are bullshit. there's no way he was able to hold 70 pounds directly infront of him. everything about bruce lee is bullshit...why aren't his students tearing up some competitions? why haven't we heard about one of them using dim mak and killing street gangs?
Dan Inosanto said in a video he knew Bruce trained in Judo but he didn't know how long a time period that was. chances are Bruce trained Judo like he did with other MA, he picked up what he thought worked and dropped what he didn't. He only learned half of the wing chun system from what I hear.
