I struggle a lot passing full guard too. To pass a lockdown halfguard tho I have a LOT of success with the Buttocks Compressor... I looove that pass.

Suppose it's just a noob misconception on my part that Guard passing was something that would be the easiest thing to master, but as you said when I am rolling with guys 95% of the time that are better than me, it's not going to be easy.

And yeah I meant stripe, by tip. I hear people say different things. I have some blue thing on my belt now anyway. They say everyone remembers their first dont they :)
