This was an amazing week. Herzog is genuinely one of the best teachers I have ever been around, and he is extremely passionate about the art. I think what stands out to me the most about Chris is how much he cares about his students. He has studied coaching and has invested an incredible amount of time into learning the best way to convey a message to an athlete.

I loved hearing him relay some of the lessons he has learned from some of his instructors in various disciplines over the years, particularly Mark Tripp.

Chris spent hours and hours giving away information to myself and our students. He held nothing back in his teaching, and his knowledge in the realm of leglocks is seemingly limitless.

Chris, thanks so much for spending the week here with us. We are truly grateful, and I know that each person who participated will grow immensely from what you shared with us.

....and it was all done with a broken foot and a torn hamstring (as it was confimed by my doc yesterday), good news is I should be back in action in a few weeks ;)
