For obvious reasons.
Double lotus by end of 2012. That was also my 2011 goal, Made progress, but still not close. Left leg is great, always has been, but the right is still along way off.

Awesome thread :)
Went to Naga in Utah yesterday... I got fourth in Gi and I got fourth in Nogi (I lost in overtime by 2 points)... I didn't do terribly, but I have A LOT to work out.
Hey 10th planet family, I wanted to share some goal setting psychology i've found very helpful in many aspects in life, but especially training skills.
"The percieved complexity of a task will expand to fullfill the time you alot it" -Tim Ferris, quoting an abstraction of Parkinson's Law(Work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion.)
More commonly phrased as "The amount of time which one has to perform a task is the amount of time it will take to complete the task."
Studies generally show:
If Person A gives them self 2 years to master something, and person B 10 years, 18 months deep neither will be a master, but Person A will generally be far more proficient.
This would suggest if you tell yourself and train with the intention that in 2 years you will be capable of rolling with and winning against Advanced level grapplers, chances are you will be alot better in 18 months than if you tell yourself in 2 years your going to be Just better than most intermediates around and train with that mindset.
If your overweight and tell yourself your going to lose 10 lbs in the next 2-3 months, you won't lose as much as if you have the intention to lose 30 lbs, even if you follow the same diet and routine to get there, because of the all subconscious and semi conscious choices that we make to facilitate our progress to match our perceived time for it.
Just sharing some positive info I found helpfull, although it seems by everyone here's goals are pretty boss ;D
