Ya i was thinking about it. I think i would just carry a tool that i can pull the ignition of a car out with, then just replace it with a new ignition. Does it work that way? Kind of not a gear head, please advise.
I have heard that once the ignition cylinder is traumatically removed on certain vehicles. one could:
A.connect the exposed wires or use a flat head screwdriver to start the vehicle (WARNING!!! THIS IS ILLEGAL If THE VEHICLE IS NOT YOUR PROPERTY!!!)
B. with he ignition cylinder removed on certain vehicles the steering column lock may be irreparably rendered NON-FUNCTIONAL.
