I'm with you Josh.

There needs to be strictor psychological screening and mandatory anual evaluations. The type of person that aspires to be a cop can be either a phenomenal human being or a complete shitbag. I also believe that some cops start with the right mindset but become corrupt by there perception of the power they posses. Until it is a highly respected and justly compensated position in society this will always be an issue.

Actually what the problem is, is that cops rarely (if ever) suffer any form of punishment for their crimes. They get paid holidays.

Not really. That's still punishing someone who should of never had the job in the first place.

Yeah, they get paid. Not like they should for what should be required of them.
