10 year old little girl beats boys with rubber guard

If the only other kids on her level have that much more experience then she must be more naturally talented, in a way "better". I haven't' been around many kids but she seems to posses coordination and athleticism that must be uncommon for a 10 year old.

Eddie is always pushing for youngsters do wrestling, we had it starting in 4th grade where I lived. Will Cora be wrestling, because she is sure to be a force in that sport as well and it can only make her jui jitsu stronger.

your daughter is amazing, i'd rather pay to see her than many pro fighters.

Shes got better rubber guard than me and I've been working on mine since she was 4

Cora is a monster

Aaron: Master Eddie did recommend us to put Cora into wrestling. But at the present moment, Jiu Jitsu is all we can afford in time and money. Maybe when she get to high school. Right now, between home work and practice and competiting, that is all we can do. And you know a 10 year old girl need her TV time and girly time as well...:) Just trying to find a balance. So for now, we have to settle for Jiu Jitsu wrestling...:)

As far as her being a "natural talent". No, its just hard work. She wasn't always this athletic. She was a huge baby at almost 9 lbs and remained chunky for years. At 7 years old we put her in gymnastic for a year, the girl can't even do cartwheel or tumble the right way. So we took her out of that. When she turn 8, we put her in Jiu Jitsu and with all the exercises they put her through, she gradually become what she is today. And she is so proud of her 6 pack...LOL

Bruce check out Cary Kolat's You tube page and you guys can drill wrestling at home. A lot of the techs you wont need since the are specific for wrestling but a bunch of things will apply. BTW I posted this video on my wives wall to show my girls. Keep up the good work.
