Indeed!
The Gerbil, Jeremy Arel gave me the most intimate lesson when I planched on his darce and verbally antagonized him. A lesson I will never forget...

There's a lot of great advice in here already, stick with your A game against tough competition but add wrestling as a long term project - Turn your weaknesses into strengths!
One thing I would add that you can do in the short term is work on wrestling tie ups and setting up the guard pull from collar ties and arm drags etc.
Thanks guys. With so little time and so much to learn it just worry me that's all. I know I can't cover all the bases. As you can see, she is improving with every tournament. Yes we definitely will be focus on wrestling defense for sure in the future.
look in the month she has until the tournament she obviously can only work on what she already knows. However, if she wants to stay relevant as she gets older and guys are getting stronger because of puberty she's going to need to learn how to wrestle at least on a basic level. Otherwise she'll just get horsed around when she gets older. As more and more wrestlers start going into jiu-jitsu it's not going to be that easy to just guillotine or rip out a kimura against them. or just pull guard
So in a nutshell, while it won't really matter either way for this tournament. She needs to learn how to wrestle for the long term
I dont. Would be nice to practice her own game against wrestlers though.
Was this it? If not, this is still awesome.
