Think most people in the sandbox mid east just doesn't give a shit about what happened to the Jews 60 years ago, and only care about what Israel is doing now, and keeping that in mind I get why they dislike them.

Am I going to be the one to point out that chief is spelled incorrectly? JK, but seriously... we have this thing in our minds that our president is supposed to act a certain way or say certain things. but, whether you like obama or not he is just stating what probably 99% of americans are likely thinking.

It is much easier to forget about your problems (in this case hunger,lack of education, civil liberities, ect..) if you have someone else to blame and hate for not having them.

Hearsay and anecdotal evidence.. Ad Hominem(although so was mine :P).. fallacy of comp(which is the most important in this instance).. appeal to ignorance earlier.. basically nothing you've said regarding that subject is even valid so far.

If I still listed my full last name then maybe it would be more apparent but I am middle eastern(the kicker being i'm iranian lol) and am fairly positive I have more experience in that region then you(could possibly be wrong?). But that isn't even needed to list reasons why you're mistaken. Not to single you out but the fact that you actually believe that is fairly depressing.. the misinformation(maybe dis) thats spread is annoying.

^^you do have more experience than me. Its hear say to you because your hearing from me. I heard it from an Iraqi immigrant and he told me that "everyone knows that about the Holocaust" in the middle east. So maybe its less regional than middle East but either way, the point is that the people of the "region" are influenced by leaders and not education or even bad internet outlets.
He explained to me a whole bunch of stuff he had no idea about his country until he got here.
