In the Flat Earth Scenario does our planet orbit the Sun or does the Sun orbit around our planet? Heliocentrism vs. Geocentrism?
There are multiple competing versions of flat earth. In the most common versions, the sun moves in a circle above the flat earth but does not orbit the flat earth. The way they think gravity works is pretty fucking hilarious.
Heliocentrism vs. Geocentrism is about whether the sun or earth is the center of a infinite, expanding universe. I guess you could say the flat earth is geocentric but prolly not the way you're thinking.

So how does gravity work? Is it a wave? Is it a particle? Does it change depending on what kind of matter is amassed? Also wouldn't the lighter elements be weaker against the force of gravity? Why is it that lighter elements go away from earth then? Hmmm... What about centrifugal force? Why aren't all the lighter elements bulging at the center. Oblate spheroid right? All those composites are round though... Hmmmm..... Curious.
Gravity is not "a wave" but there do seem to be gravitational waves. The particle associated with gravitation is called the graviton.
What type of change are you talking about? What do you mean by "kind of matter"?
Lighter elements have less mass and are therefore less gravity, if that's what you're asking. They are not "weaker against the force of gravity".
Im not sure what youre asking.
Who am I talking to? Before this forum recently blew up with conspiracy theorist, we all used our real names here.
I've been a member of this site since 2014 and following 10thplanet and Eddie since before they were dragging Renato's fake choked ass out the back of the gym. Slow down son. Unless you're saying its a forum... CONSPIRACY! hahaha it's Dave btw.
I like how you talk like one of the scientists :) it's cute. You are literally just saying things that were told to you. How exactly is this graviton measured again? And what was it your colleagues were saying about gravity waves?
You've been a member since 2015.
Im not better, just smarter.
I like how you talk like a conspiracy sheep, it's cute. You are literally just saying things that were told to you. The effect of gravitation is most commonly measured by its effect on mass, in the form of weight. Where I live, that would be gram, pounds ect. I dont know what youre asking about gravity waves.
Im not interested in educating a nameless coward.
In this video professional pilots, engineers, surveyors, military radar operators, snipers etc... talk about the fact that there is not convex curvature to the earth.

Gravity is a theory. No one can explain what it is. There are no gravity waves or gravitons or grape gravity berries. There are mathematical formulas that can predict what happens when you drop something here on earth but that has nothing to do with planets going around the sun in the heliocentric model. Any honest scientist will admit that the proposed gravitational force is too weak.

You might want to check your math. Can you really see North Manitou from Empire Beach?
I presume you are talking about this stretch of water:
https://www.google.com.au/maps/place...!4d-86.0600933
That is 16km from Sleeping Bear Dunes to North Manitou.
The Earth has a circumference of 40,000km.
The difference between a straight line and a curve, at 16km, would be close to 20m.
So how high were you and how high was the sand that you can see at the island? Waiting your pictures...
edit: a better - and more accurate - description is here:

Is your point that gravity isn't real?
Gravity is a theory. It explains a lot of what we see and experience. To a first approximation, Newton's law of gravity also explains the observed motions of the planets and moons. and the trajectory of ballistic objects. Einstein's theories do a more accurate job with the planets and can be applied here on Earth as well. So, these theories explain observations that happen on Earth as well as what happens in outer space.
Magnetism is a theory. It explains a lot of what we see and experience. You haven't made any revelatory point about gravity at all.
Both the fields of gravity and magnetism in mainstream science explain lots of easily observable naturally occurring phenomena.
What astonishes me is that people who apparently don't believe in science and scientific method ...
... use a computer ...
... to post on the internet ...
about how they don't believe in science.
It must be inconvenient for them that computers and the internet even work.
It'll be interesting, the day someone can come up with a decent test that could confirm a prediction of string theory - because 'gravity' only winds up resolving well once pointlike entities are done away with. That winds up requiring higher dimensional math, although a lot of people assert that there's no need to go there.
But then again, I'm of the opinion that there should be coherent math that describes consciousness - any and every phenomena that exists will have math that describes it, and not only one description but many, depending on what point of view and what parameters are considered, wrapped up in the probability equations. So there should be some sort of consciousness-coefficient of sorts at some level of mathematical description, and this is how intent interfaces with reality.
In one of the particle physics books I have, there were some relatively simple quantum mechanical probability equations derived from some photon detector tests, about measuring probability distribution of spin. If the events happened in a sequence there was X or whatever probability of the result, if everything was timed well and phase aligned but the individual events themselves could be distinguished, the result was calculated differently and more potent. When it got to the point of high phase coherency + the individual events themselves becoming obscured, it was exponentially more powerful.
It was an amusing anecdote to analogizing training, any training, to the potency of the outcome, a macrocosm in a microcosm. In the zone - translating to well ingrained muscle memory that's phase coherent and the most potent possible. That's the physical becoming less mental-capital-intensive, where the peak of training is.
The beach in empire man. From the sand in front of the lighthouse. And yes you can see it perfect. Its about 11 miles from the lighthouse.
Took some pics but having issues with some 404 error trying to upload... help?
in this video you can clearly see the "edge" of the earth. but flat earth theory claims there is no edge? ... if there is one, please explain what happens when we get there? ... or if the flat earth was infinite, then why is the image above does not extend all the way to the top of the screen and beyond?
we can exchange videos all day. plus anyone with a basic understanding of math and physics doesn't need 45 minutes of "proof" (i mean random rambling)... if there is no accurate map of the planet and latitudes and longitudes do not exist... and satellites are fake.
... how does your gps work then?
You can say it's nonsense all you want. It stands. The higher you go, the farther you can see. It's not obsurd to suggest that it will continue in the same manner if it were able to travel higher. It is just a fact of perspective. You should be concerned with the fact that if you are on a sphere perspective would cause the sphere to drop out of view, not keep rising to eye level. No matter how high you go, the horizon stays in the same place relative to your perspective.
it was nonsense because you called a horizon line a "convergence point"...
ok now that we've moved past it, you do realize that you just contradicted your FE theory?
the only reason you can see further, is because the line of sight changes, as you go up. here's a genius drawing that explains how that concept works: http://imgur.com/lvwQ5dM
i guess what you are hinting at is a vanishing point concept, but that would only apply to a small object not an "infinitely" large plane of the flat earth.
stay in school.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horizon
Like forever... Like Indefinately stay in school? So your in the "infinite school" camp, not the "infinite plane" camp. Got it. You obviously haven't even attempted to look into it. I don't blame you. Infinite wisdom can make a soul pretty lazy. Would it make you feel better if I called it the point at which the ground and sky converge? Cause that's still a thing on a globe model it's what causes the sunset...That's what the horizon is. The convergence point in your perspective. I don't need to stay in school. I remember what I learned just fine.
damn son, that Flattard video is the whopper. Not only does it completely destroy the theory with obvious and observable holes, it does it while making fun of them for not thinking.
If you see the massive gaping holes in the Flat Earth theory and you cling to videos of dudes with go-pros talking about the "law of perspective" and no provable curvature, you really are a Flattard.
glad to see that some people are still able to understand basic math and think rationally. i was really losing hope there for a while.
it's funny that "proof" is always like 30-60 minutes of some randomly compiled "alternative facts" and pseudoscientific speak from people who have no clue of what they are saying. while debunking the whole myth takes 5 minutes and a few simple math equations.
most people here understand combat sports. how many youtube videos claim that applying chi and energy field techniques can be as effective as jiu jitsu or muay thai or wrestling or judo in a real fight? but to disprove that theory it only takes a good ol' 1, 2 followed by a solid kick to the head.
enjoy part 2 ;)
