Keep up training BJJ, maybe compliment it with something that can require a bit higher intensity warm ups as well, such as Wrestling or Judo. I'm not the biggest fan of hours of cardiovascular work but for weight loss, an extra 20-40 minutes after class on a cross trainer will make a big difference. Also the kitchen is were it comes down to at the end of the day. Do not give up BJJ though :)
The kitchen and even importantly the supermarket. Don't buy and have around the sort of foods you know you shouldnt be consuming in the first place, and the whole thing will come together. Constantly tempting yourself by having the bread, deserts and processed food you've bought around the place and in your domain 24/7 just adds to the tension.
Dave it has to be a lifestyle change, as in forever ever. Not "I'm gunna fo this for 6 months", otherwise it will always be a struggle.
This is 110% true, but I also want to say that it's not a lifestyle change that you should be scared of.
Start with simple stuff: No starch, no sugar. At all.
Just to make it clear that when I say none, I mean none:
This is in reference to leaky gut syndrome, which a lot of people have and don't even know it, because they are eating grains, legumes and dairy.Quote:

All this because people eat grains, which cause the following, in summation:Quote:

I'm just dropping notes from the book. You should really just buy it and read it and do the 30 day challenge. (Not a challenge really)
My point is, it may sound or seem daunting to stop eating starch and sugar, but it's easier than you think. The only thing I will caution you on is that there is an addition to the foods you'll be dropping and you will experience withdrawl like a drug for a couple weeks.

I am now trying finally to get my mind and body on the same path. Its a hard one for sure I know what i like to eat and it will be hard to cut out certain foods but this is something i truely want so i really dont have another choice about it.
Just do it bro. Just stop eating the bad and continue eating the good.
