Chivalry is actually benevolent or benign sexism because it is based on the idea that women need help because they are women. That having been said, it does not make you a bad person because you hold the door open for women - I usually do the same for women myself. More women appreciate that gesture than hate it and I enjoy the smile I generally receive for the courtesy.
However, for the reason that Jee cites above about discriminatory laws written in the name of protecting women, it is important to recognize such behavior for what it is.
Also, I do not think you are more flexible than I am Jee. Just sayin'

Some people are just stupid.
Personally, I will train with who ever. There were a couple of times where I was the only guy in the day class. I'm also one of the small guys so just about everyone I roll with is bigger than me. I have to adapt some of the moves to make up for my size and lack of strength. With some of the women, it's all about technique.

Im 6'3 205 i been doing jiu jitsu for 4 years now i have never once rolled with a girl in class. The only female i have ever roll with is my girlfriend. (And thats only becuase shes always trying to slap on rear nakeds while im tryin to stretch and it turns into rolling) I have never rolled with a chick in class because more or less there are other people closer to there size that they would rather roll with. I dont wanna be the guy going up to a chick and being like "hey u wanna roll" when i out wieght her by 100 pounds, (looks creepy) not saying i wouldnt roll with them, i just havent. I do believe there is somthing to be learned from everyone, men, woman, short, tall, fat, skinny, blue belt, black belt it doesnt matter. Anyone thats ask me to roll, i'll roll with em doesnt matter to me. Jiu jitsu is for everyone and should be practiced by everyone.
P.S. Let the record show i have never been submitted by a female, not saying i wont it just hasnt happend.
