Super quick choke
Yep, longer limbs definitely help with this move.
Imagine there is a metal bar on the back of your neck holding your head down. Now a rope is thrown around your neck and pulled up. That's basically the mechanics of the choke. It should be a tight blood choke and a gag reflex because your arms should cover everything except the back of the neck where your leg is holding him down.
Awesome description, thanks for the reply Ben! Just one more quick question - is it a must to use a palm-to-palm grip? Or will a regular macelotine grip work? (I'm finding palm-to-palm a little awkward, could be that I just haven't gotten the mechanics down yet).
For those that don't have an instagram, you can see the tech vids I've shared here - http://instagram.com/jesushadamoustache.
Yea, as Brent said, I thought it was, but I've recently found ralf's germanator, rex angle etc. So I think it's been around for a bit.
I like to use it a bit differently though, I'm not looking for a choke with it like the rex angle and unlike the germanator I like to use it without the arm being zombie'd. I generally look to work with moves that don't require a zombie'd arm. It's a lot of work to get an arm zombie'd to the mat. I think of the position as a good control position. Just like hindu control it has advantages over meathook and mission control. Compared to mission control you have a free arm to attack with and compared to meathook his head is locked in place.
Just to answer the question for people here too, hadn't heard of the name, until we talked on FB, but yes I do.
This vid shows how I like to use it to transition to invisible collar. http://instagram.com/p/pNSIbUQFP7/
It makes it so he can't beat the angle on you with his head when trying to get your right arm in for invisible collar. It also makes it so you never lose any control as you transition.
