The inverted half guard, the inverted guard, the tornado guard, the upside-down guard, terra's guard... Many different names for this north-south style guard... It's been around for some time but I see it more and more lately(glover does it nicely in adcc trials 2011)...

Another guard we must be aware of and at least know how to address. There are sweeps, foot locks, triangles, arm bars, Omoplatas from it. So why not learn it. More weapons.

hmm i wanna look into that i am not competing till 2012 ive got wrestling season and just training coming up so i wanna soak up whatever i can so keep posting :)
