Dear eddie this letter has been on the tip of my fingers toes and every hair in my body for the last few months.
My name is eric jones I am a student of Yours in Florida, there are no 10thplanet schools in Florida but let me tell you my story.
Your book happen to hit me one day when I was on vaccation.I went on vacation out of town.The first place I took all the people I was meeting was Books a million. When I go on vaccation I get lot's of things that I can't get in my town. In the bookstore I was looking for MMA books secretly, I bought a korean book about their lifes and I bought 3 MARTIAL ARTS books, Mastering the system/Rubber guard, Ip man, Greg jackson's.
My eyes have seen a lot for a 22 year old, i was on the set on hollywood movies a few occesions when i was young 11. so i had the understanding of movie making. My father worked on big buget movies as a hair stylist and all he talked about was boxing so much, he had 2 full boxes of recorded tapes he had to hand record. Before they had DVD players, he also has boxes full of RING magazines. He has boxing knowledge , and my father always talked to me about boxing but i got hooked on pride fighting in 2002. and i ended up becoming a fan and went to the one in las vegas to see fedor fight 4-5 rows from the front.
i started taking judo and juijitsu class in febuary 2011.
a entire 3 months pre singing up i was reading 10thplanet books and for years have been building my legs muscles already. but with the help of 10thplanet I was able to achieve my next level. I then joined the judo class +no gi / gi juijitsu class.
I brought my 10thplanet book the third week whitch was my birtchday march 25 I was there because I would go into class 15 minutes early to stretch and I would use 10thplanet.
The teacher always saw me so he asked for the book.
Around the same time the korian zombie pulled off a twister.
It was a great day for me I remeber that day and the day before becauseIi was talking to my teacher about the 10thplanet system since he read it on some freetime.
With in days after after class he would show me and 2 other guys 10thplanet moves and it became a routine to the point we now have 2 groups some times in class. Some times he'll split me and more advance people up so we can study 10thplanet, while he teahes the class.
I go every day I take judo/tkd/bjj gia and nogi. they have open mat for an hour.
I have a lot of wrightings about the sport .I do not have an mmawebsite but I do write on facebook pages and forums.
I just want to say the last few months in daytona beach have been 10thplanet, I have a feeling I can be as good as a blue belt.
