An thus I will never get promoted beyond purple (the last belt I trained gi in) and I'm fine with that because I am in it for my own personal journey and to help my daughter and girlfriend along in their journey. If someone made me a brown or a black belt tomorrow I would be no better than what I am today right?
My only advice is be honest with yourself, do this the right way so when you look back you are truly proud of what you accomplished and just enjoy the ride fellas :)
