i showd it to eddie when he was over in stockholm and he liked it. i find it extremly effective against practically anyone ive used it on, and the why is that you have better control, it takes them way longer to ge out, u can control the movement of their leg alot more because you have more points of contact, and it hurts the opponent atleast just to annoy them. the opponent cant kick your foot of as easily as normal lockdown. as far as the knee goes, theres a bit of strain on there but you can just strech your leg right out which relieves it right away, also the difference between this and the heelhook position is that the opponent has control over the ankle etc, here the moment it gets to much your foot slips out easily and the opponent cant twist your foot far enough.im pretty flexible and im pretty small only 67kg like 144 pounds so this maybe something that is especially suitd for me, but even being so small i can control guys over 200 pounds. its not perfect but it really does work.
ill try and get some footage up here, possibly just of rolling in the gym, but the next tournament over here is in november so itll take a while until i get real footage up.
