Taxes in 10th Planet Store

I just tried to buy 10th planet shorts, the store is charging me over 16.75% in taxes. Thought maybe I'm missing something.

Estimated Shipping $5.15
Tax $9.21
Total $69.35

wow that's an expensive pair of shorts

I mean tax in Chicago Illinois is 10% so that seems about right unless I'm missing something.

That and I think you get taxed on the total. Including shipping. But then again idk.

Taxes are charged based on your city tax rate. What city are you in? Can you complete your order so we can figure it out? With no order, we can't credit you back...
