They look the exact same as the Gi Flex I have now. I love the ones I have now.
I was thinking of ordering some gi pants as well. Any other recommendations?
I dont have anything else to compare them to. I bought these when I first started training a year ago and they have held up great. For the first couple of months I only had these so they got washed 3 times a week. They have a thin rubber strip around the inside so they dont move. The crotch has a stretchy material so there is no restriction to my movement. Hope this helps.
As far as I can see. The only difference in the new ones is that they shouldn't shrink so are sized slightly differently ( the original ones being longer than normal to allow for shrinking )
I have them , never had the first ones though so I can't really say what improvements were made . I bought mine directly from sprawls own website I can't remember what the handling charge was but the total only came up to 55 pounds and they took about a week and a half to turn up.I've been using them for a while now and I haven't really noticed any shrinkage and I've found them to be amazing ,no awkward restriction on movement and even during rigorous rolling sessions they don't seem to ride up for or fall halfway down your ass like the cotton ones seem to.
£55 seems pretty reasonable. I emailed sprawl who said to buy them via an Austrian website for €79 plus shipping which probably works out at more than £55. Maybe buying directly from sprawl is the way to go.
How did you find the sizing. I'm 5 ft 10" and about 135lbs. I would suspect I would want a small but maybe a medium.
Small waist and regular size legs.
I'm 5"10 and about 180 and I got the medium.if you go on www.sprawl.tv they have a sizing guide.55pounds works out to about 80-83 US Dollars
I agree, the Phalanx ones look like the go to me. Haven't tried them though.
