I am sort of coming to the opinion, that combat Sambo, would be better for developing fighters in many cases (or maby something with a similar structure) than amatuer MMA. Amatuer MMA is in many cases BS, and something like that, might be better. I am of the mind that MMA should be a pro only sport though.
Amatuer rules here in p.a. it fucking sucks no standing kicks knees to the head no elbows on the ground its like a boxing match mixed with wrestling in Virginia the amatuer rules are straight up ufc rules alot better to fight and prepare yourself for the pros.
combat Sambo is a variation of systema/krav maga. Perhaps you meant sport Sambo?
Disagreed. Virginia doesnt prepare you to be a pro. Virginia, lines a promoters pockets with money because you fight under full pro rules (other than slightly larger gloves and shorter rounds) yet you dont get paid. And last time I knew of, doesnt cover stitches either, which you will get with elbows, sooner or later.Quote:
