You can check out the bizarre submission chain starting at 4:25, but the first 3-minute round is full of action and is worth the watch, too DAM!!!

That move is called the Imanari.
We call it the link choke.
First, the victor is lucky he even got that far with that horrible omoplata set up. Second, the referee is a blazing moron for not recognizing that the guy was out for a full 7 seconds.
THE TWISTER PLATA is with the neck crank (twister grip) and Imanari is the choke, you just saw this kid apply with the exact same grip, but applied across the throat.
Alder showed it to me a while ago.
LOl, I think I called it a twist-o-plata with rear naked choke. Like Frank said its the hand grip from the crank being used to choke. I think its also in one of the MTS vids
Imanari did it first but I would have to put a number after it because of doing other Iminari techniques. Shhhh, dont tell anyone though... I saw Boogeyman do the choke on someone in a grapple tourney recently to.
Saw this on Reddit recently, and there was another video in the comments of this kid pulling off another rare sub. Starting at 4:29 on this video I was cringing just waiting for him to blow his knee out.
That is fucking weird. I ws laying in bed last night after a session of rolling, thinking about Omoplata and all this talk on the forum about 100%, and I visualized the RG path into Omoplata and reaching around the neck and going RNC and wondered if it was possible, and thought "I should try that our Friday night".
Crazy.
I think I did the Imanari 5 years ago before I ever heard of this move. https://vimeo.com/8291752
