Haters are EVERYWHERE!!!

So yesterday a friend of mine on FB posted asking for recommendation to some of the best Jiu Jitsu websites that she can learn from. Others give their input so of course I put mine. And of course I refer her to here, 10thplanet. All I did was just tell her how we benefit from 10thplanet. She herself has witnessed Cora in action using mostly 10thplanet jiu jitsu. Not a minute go by before the 10thplanet haters come out. I try to keep my cool and have a mature conversation but oh man it was so hard as the hatred was fierce. I feel like I was being rape by these fools. Anyone know of a guy name Dan Halpin? He said he used to be a 10thplanet junkie before he see the light. And by the sound of things, he's has gone 180 degree on 10thplanet. One thing those guys always bring up is that there isn't one 10thplanet guy at the high level. Maybe at their back wood area doesn't have a 10thplanet or they just haven't travel much. Another guy confess to being a ref and says he has never seen any 10thplanet guy on the podium. I'm like WTF!!??? Brian and Nathan killing people everywhere they go. So now if you see me posting some of yall's video online, please forgive me. I want to show these fools that 10thplanet does work and yall can compete against anyone.

Yeah, Dan Halpin in Is a douche. He used to be a part of gireviews.net, so he is a gi loyalist. I quit listening to the haters, most of them don't compete in nogi and aren't willing to back their mouths up by rolling with a 10P moon head. The close mindedness is one of the things that will keep jiu jitsu from ever really blowing up. Just keep rolling and your chance to prove the haters wrong will come.

After a while that stuff will be like water on a ducks back.. Don't let it stress you.. You know what the best website for learning quality nogi techniques is. You know what the best and most highly evolved jiujitsu system in existence is. It's only hurting them not seeing past the BS. You keep on keepin on.

Scott, I hear what you're saying. BUT still it just tick me off man. I was merely trying to share with a friend something good, something that we benefit from. And got ganged up on instead. Now I'm going to go find some of our 10thplanet buddies video and post it all over the place...LOL

It's not an argument you can ever "win" because you're arguing against their beliefs. Any "evidence" you post will be discounted or ignored because it doesn't support their beliefs. In the end, it's not worth the headache. You know what's up.

Haters make the system grow stronger, embrace it and don't let them get to you. You have barely even scratched the surface of 10th planet hate, the rest of us have grown in the system along with it. If they are hating, they are paying attention. It's flattering.

Oh I can promise yall this, when my daughter get better and deeper into the system, we will make a habit to throw up 10th gang sign everywhere we go. On top of that, we will sew back on the 10thplanet patches on her new sponsored Gi. LOL Sorry guys, I just don't handle haters all too well.

And each persons bjj journey is personal. No point in trying to prove yourself right or spread the good word.

If someone's listening, then they'll listen, and then they can see for themself. The other day I showed a fellow white belt old school and electric chair. He's the kind of guy with no background in grappling, he drills techniques in class but just can't put anything together. And it seems like no one else in class is giving him advice or tips. But after showing him stuff from the lock down, he's been sweeping guys in class and has been looking up how to fine tune the technique in youtube.

That's a great start, he'll learn for himself how effective it is. But the seed is planted.
