What's your diet like?
Just wanted to get a thread going about different ideas and philosophy y'all have on diets or just in general how you should eat and what is best to avoid.
For me personally I think I'm gonna try and cut down on the amount of meat I eat after reading some studies that animal protein is a big time carcinogenic, FUCK THAT! Not that I'll not eat it on cheat days mind you...cause that stuff tastes awesome!
And gonna try and stay away from the grains I eat, cause I always seem to feel sluggish on them and especially stuff like white pasta/rice which is full of sugar
So less protein from animal sources and stay away from grains
But its a free for all on cheat day :) haha

My diet isn't very specific, but I just try to make common sense choices.
I steer clear of pretty much anything that is processed. That includes pasta, flour, soda, candy, etc. I do eat yogurt because I know the probiotics are good for me. I like to eat as many products that are organic and local as possible. I eat/drink as many veggies and fruits as I can. I eat good, well raised, organic meats and eggs (milk too). I drink as much water as possible (not enough).
Personally, I avoid gluten products because they tend to stuff up the pipes (if you get my drift), but that is just me. I of course have reward days and if I am at a party I don't avoid the cake, the ice cream etc. I don't let my diet and eating habits get in the way of me enjoying celebrations with my friends and family.
IMO diet is personal and you gotta eat and drink in a way that your body responds well. We all know the basics, water, veggies, not a ton of fast food, but after that each of us is different and we all need to take in what we need. Some of us are older, some are younger, some have allergies, some don't eat certain things based on ethical choices and men and women also need different things. So, I suggest going with what feels good to you. Eat a diet where your body responds favorably, has lots of energy, looks in a way that makes you happy and generally makes you feel healthy and that makes you happy. Lastly, make sure that your diet makes you want to eat. There is nothing worse than seeing someone suffer through a meal because it is healthy. I don't believe that you should eat or drink anything that you have to "learn" to like.

I follow a strict seefood diet; I see food, I eat it.

Diet? What's that?
I don't currently have a diet, but when I want to loose weight, I just eat meat, rice, vegetables and fruit. (No bread, no soda, pizza, etc.)
If I stick to it and exercise regularly I loose weight fast. It's like a Paleo diet, just with rice.
There's something about rice.. It's carbs, but I think it digests slowly, and it fills you up so you don't feel so hungry. In combination with meat at least. If you eat only rice you are hungry again in no-time at all.
There's lots of talk about dieting, but I never hear anything about how fast things are digested, and how it sits in your stomach. I believe that meat and rice mixed together takes time to digest, while it gives you the right amount of energy.
Furthermore, Japanese people live the longest in the world, and there's not much obesity. So I try to put together dishes from Japanese cuisine. Lots of seafood is also healthy!
If I have the choice between sushi or pizza I'd choose sushi every time, because it tastes nice and is super-healthy. However; -It's incredibly expensive compared to a frozen pizza.. And I'm poor. And pizza tastes goood..! :'(

I'm a Dolce disciple, and live that diet lifestyle 24/7/365. I even travel with my guys to handle their diet/weight-cuts, albeit on a much smaller scale than Mike. Cocaine works well too though.

"clean" protein (poultry and seafood) leafy greens and sweet veggies, 1 cheat day weekly (like 3 in real life). I never thought I'd like eating right but it feels way better than being all sluggish every day. Even on cheat days I'm scared of potential digestive issues so I live on the edge by going to Friday's and eating "Sizzling chicken and cheese"
Oh yeah, and screw that gluten-free crap, that's the only morphine I can get legally.

specific carb diet/ Paleo blend. yeh, I eat peanuts, so sue me.

In general, my family tries to eat stuff that grows or stuff that eats stuff that grows.
Stuff that's made out of stuff that grows in moderation (bread, pasta, sugar).
