In the rules for white belts, it states no electric chair submissions, but banana splits are OK? What gives? Why aren't electric chair subs OK? The ec sweep is OK?

The Gracies have had some bad experiences with it.
Nice! lol:)
That is hilarious. Ever need proof that 10th planet is the evolution and certain BJJ players are scarred they will be left behind when it reaches the masses? They've handed it to you right there. We can't be bothered to evolve, so those who have evolved can't play with us.
Are you sure banana splits are allowed? I thought all crotch stretching subs were illegal for white belts?
Do you guys remember in K-1 when Buakaw (Thai) came and wiped out all the organisations top stars in his first tournament? K-1 quickly put in a rule saying no Clinch was allowed (obviously in an attempt to favour the Japanese Kickboxing style)?
I do feel at times the BJJ guys put in all these new rules to deter the no-gi guys or the guys looking to break away from anything but the absolute most traditional version of the art (obviously not saying ALL have the same mindset).
Gracie tournament is a bit vague. Which tourney are you talking about because the only thing that shows up for me is Gracie Worlds/Nationals and they have no rules against either.
They combined the websites for Nationals and Worlds under the name "Gracie Tournaments". The url still says worlds.
