I train like everyone else, but with no gi at the fore front. Never trained with one, and don't intend to. Am I brainwashed, maybe, but I believe everything I do is for a purpose and all my moves will work whether I wear a gi or not. I was disqualified in this tournament that I hoped I could win gold and represent 10th planet. This was advanced heavyweight and apparently calve cranks are too much to handle.

I dont think I have ever seen a grappling comp on those thin Puzzle mats. What if someone got slammed on those things? May was well have a carpet on the floor.

You represented well. Your transitions were smooth when your opponent made his attempt to pull butterfly guard. You seemed like you knew the crank was there and you were just playing along. Good job. Don't let the judging bug you. Crazier shit has happened.
