i cold wash slow cycle immediately when i get home... then hang from a line with a coathanger inside of it!
NEVER wash your belt!
lol i know dude >.> but ill just dry it on a noheat cycle
i hang it on the back window of my car to dry off the sweat.. then il wash it at the end of the week, but make sure i hang dry it. unless my dad gets to it first.. ><
i think putting it in the dryer isn't the best move
Man I would love to get more than one session out of a gi, but when it's wet like it's been underwater with sweat, it just doesn't seem right to me to dry it out and wear it for another couple sessions. No one wants to be that guy that every thinks stinks but doesn't tell him do they?
Maybe in colder places it's not so bad, but I am yet to finish a sessions and think 'yeah I could probably get another roll out of that' Maybe I also sweat like a pig
haha ya man i live in arizona and i dont know if you know this but where i live is known to go up to 130 degrees!!
my town is also the driest in the country
so im just gonna have to wear it kinda damp
Forget the old tradition of no belt washing, its stupid and dirty. They say proper jiujitsu practitioners get their black belt by having their white belt turn black from spending years on the mat. It is a great saying and means alot but in real life, wash that belt. Why would you want to wrap your clean Gi with something that stinks and has all kinds of fungus and bacteria on it?
exactly i agree
and than you can get staph and shit on it
and use your hands and than touch your mouth
and walla!!!!! insta organ failure
dsmma gi get on them super strong but not as thick drys in no time after a wash i have 2 gis going 3 now and it is far the best one i have and make your self a gi hanger
