Need help with new 10thP Yuma logo

Mike does great work I'm real happy about how these turned out. But, we can't decide on purple or red for our next round of promo. Vote? thoughts?

I dig the purple in the first pic.

purple looks realy good.but since yuma is a desert city.the red.

you should try yellow or orange, i got a feeling that it would blend well with the design a bit better

You ever think about using a Lama instead of the snake? Then you could have the Yuma Lama as your mascot.

Otherwise I like the purple.

The snake needs a name too:) Maybe Eddie? Oh wait I don't think Beanie would be cool with that:)
