great episode. my gym teaches that same triangle setup from the arm bar, hearing Paulson say that it was a Judo triangle setup made since considering the Judo lineage of where I train. that pinched knee neck crank was brutal, did you know that your head was almost backwards when you were in it?

+1 for Paulson, he has definitely made himself one of the best in the world through a strong work ethic, his indominable warrior spirit, and overall attitude. Sometimes he comes off as a dick, but its just because he sees things in a whole different light and i would imagine most people dont understand.
He really is inspiring. Also, I had no idea he'd been working w/ the Gracies in the garage all the way back to like 1987, and was even with them at UFC 1. He's old school like Cragars.

There were definitely some things that I disagreed with him on but his reluctance to initiate that dialogue made me feel that he's not always cramming this stuff down people's throats. Maybe in his gym he is, but that's his place to do what he likes. I always have to respect integrity, no matter the differing view point.Quote:
