10th Planet takes down Boise!!!

10th Planet Spokane rep'd well in Boise yesterday at the 2010 Northwest Submission Challenge. This event is a submissions only, NO TIME LIMIT, event.

Dominic Prigan (his first tournament) 1st place 2-0
Brian Fitzgerald (his first tournament) 1st Place 3-0
Jesse Hardenbrook 1st Place Intermediate 3-0
Daniel Valdez 1st Place Intermediate 3-0
Daniel Valdez 2nd Place Absolute 1-1

I think we got every match on video, I will work on getting some film up. Great Job Team!!!!!

I thought I'd let you know that Scott "the Ref" Marker send me a personal email telling me this:

"Thought you would like to hear, 10th Planet Spokane had a few guys come down and he couldn’t have been nicer guy. They did very well. After one of the matches one of the guy’s won his match and division, was walking off the mat after he tap his opponent with a RNC and ask me if I liked it (I said yes), he said he learned a couple details off my videos off Submissions 101.

(Scott has several of his videos on Sub 101)

Then another guy almost finished a guy with the “Diving Board” choke but won. Walking off the mat asked me what he did wrong, learned it off my new video off submissions 101, WOW! What an honor.

They should also thank you for giving me the opportunity of sharing.
