So he basically just got his blue belt your saying?
I think I have most of the story on Brandon Quick but all that happened before I got into jits properly, can someone give me the low-down?

So after Eddie realized that he wasn't a legit Brown belt, was there no chance of grading him in the 10P system based on his skills on the mat? Or did he shoot his mouth off to fast for a civilized recovery to happen? I mean, Eddie himself admitted that BQ had skills and was familiar with the 10P system.
I'm not trying to drudge up old drama or start shit either, I really am just curious. It feels to me that there could have been a solution that would have allowed BQ to stay with 10P, but I haven't read all the posts with all the details/speculation.

I can dig it. Too bad it went down like that. The 10P system rules, and I know how happy I am to be a part of it.
I think a big part of it is how BQ handled the situation. There were a lot of contradictory statements. If I had found out my rank wasnt legit, say I didn't know all along, I would have gone straight to Eddie and tried to rectify the situation. Even if it meant starting all the way over at white belt. That's not the way it was handled unfortunately.Quote:
